This month's bar luncheon will take place on March 27 at noon in the Hotel Saint Michael's ballroom.

Birthe (April) Goswick will be presenting a CLE entitled, "Crimmigration: Duty of Defense Counsel to Advise Non-Citizen Clients of Immigration Consequences." April has a local practice focusing primarily on criminal law and immigration law, and her presentation will focus on the duty that the US Supreme Court recently imposed on defense attorneys to advise certain clients of immigration consequences prior to taking a guilty plea. This CLE will qualify for one hour of CLE credit, including 1/4 hour of ethics.
